Once the glaze is on, dip powders are applied to the nail to achieve the desired look. Dip Powder is applied through a series of glazes that help the powder adhere to the nail. The great thing about dip powders is that they are activated with our Seal & Protect Glaze so no monomer or UV/LED curing is needed. Please note that we can not guarantee the accuracy of our color swatches unless you are viewing them on a color-calibrated display.

 

You must apply a base to three-fourths of the nail. And dip once again in the pink dip powder. This is done to build the nail and make it even don’t forget to tuck the finger after dipping.

 

Directions:

STEP #1: APPLY BOND TO THE ENTRE NAIL

– Go ahead and grab your Bond and apply it to the entire natural nail.

STEP #2: APPLY BASE & DIP INTO CLEAR POWDER

-When applying the Base, you always want to make sure that you are applying a thin, even layer so that the application is nice and smooth.

STEP #3: APPLY BASE & DIP AGAIN

-Use your Base a second time and apply it to the nail, just a hairline away from the cuticle.

STEP #4: APPLY BASE & DIP A 3RD TIME

-Pick up your Base once again and apply it to the ENTIRE nail, and dip once more into your color.

STEP #5: APPLY CLEAR DIP POWDER

-The clear powder is extremely important to your dip application because it will protect your gorgeous color pigments when it is time to file the nail.

STEP #6: APPLY SEAL PROTECT

-Seal Protect is going to activate your powders. Without Seal Protect, the nail will never dry properly.

STEP #7: FILE, SHAPE, AND BUFF

- This step can be achieved using a medium-grit hand file and a buffer block! Once you’re happy with the shape of the nails.

STEP #8: APPLY SEAL PROTECT

-Go ahead and grab your #3 Seal Protect once more and apply a second layer onto the nail.

STEP #9: APPLY TOP COAT

-Finally, apply your #5 Dip Top Coat that comes in your Kiara Sky Dip Powder Starter Kit in quick, thin strokes and allows to dry!

STEP #10: APPLY CUTICLE OIL

-Last off, take the #6 Nourish Oil in your kit and apply it to the cuticles and massage it in!

How to care for your Kiara Sky Dip Powder Kit and Dip Essentials:

• Step #1

  Be sure to always store your Dip Powder glazes and powders in an upright position away from direct sunlight.

• Step #2

  Before storing away your Kiara Sky Dip Powder glazes, make sure you clean the rim of your bottles well with acetone. This will make it easier to open your Dip Glaze bottles and make them last as long as possible!
